Mansfield Town Centre Events and Promotions

Mansfield really is the place to be for fun and entertainment, with a whole host of exciting events scheduled for the coming months...

Mansfield Eco Bag

ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY Mansfield folk have been going green over the summer thanks to the town’s first eco-bag.
The ‘shopping bag for life’ was launched in May as an alternative to plastic bags and has been selling well over the past four months.
Now shoppers are reminded that the cotton bags, featuring the unique ‘Going Green’ design from Mansfield schoolgirl Holly Shaw, are still on sale throughout the town.
The bags cost £1 each and are sold on a not-for-profit basis, with Mansfield District Council subsidising the full production costs.
The council — together with Mansfield Town Centre Partnership — has produced the bag as an alternative to the plastic bags damaging the environment.
lThe eco bags are available from Mansfield Old Town Hall, the Civic Centre, the Four Seasons Shopping Centre and Chad receptions.
