New deli offers a taste of something new

Charcoal-coloured cheese, Skegness cheese, meats, chutneys, pâté, salads, and more - that’s what’s available at Mansfield newest shop, The Deli @ No 3, in Toothill Lane.   The deli has been launched by brothers Jamie and Jason Roberts, and they are assisted by mum Margaret and Jamie’s wife, Michelle.   The shop has only been open a week and has already proved to be popular.   Jamie said: “I’ve worked in the food sector, in companies that supply the supermarkets, but I wanted to do something for myself.   “...

Antiques business offers something new for Mansfield

An antiques shop has opened in the centre of Mansfield, launched by a man who has regularly served tea to members of the royal family. Luke Povey has opened Povey Antiques just behind the Old Town Hall, which is undergoing renovation work, and close to the recently-refurbished Crown and Anchor pub.
