Hops In A Bottle takes top spot in Christmas window competition

Elaine McGreade is raising a special toast this week after scooping top spot for her Christmas window display. Elaine is the owner of Hops in A Bottle, the shop in Market Street, Mansfield that attracts people from far and wide who are looking to buy bottled beer.   Her imaginative Christmas window display, which sees Christmas lights intetwined with empty beer bottles arranged in the shape of a Christmas tree, has taken first place in a competition run by Mansfield BID (Business Improvement District). Free and reduced parking this Christmas in Mansfield

Shoppers are reminded that there are times in the run-up to Christmas when they can park for free in Mansfield town centre. The Four Seasons Shopping Centre offers free customer parking every Sunday at the multi-storey car park. In the run-up to Christmas, shoppers can also park for free in the Four Seasons car park from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday 15 and 22 December. From Monday 19 December to Friday 23 December the shopping centre multi-storey has free parking for customers every night from 5pm to 8pm as the shops stay open until 8pm for those last minute Christmas presents. Student’s winning poster to highlight Take A Seat campaign

New Mansfield shop is all about family

Mum and daughter team Anne and Rebecca Wass have realised a dream in opening a new children's boutique in Mansfield. Jak & Daisy has opened in Regent Street, selling a hand-picked selection of clothing brands for young children, up to the age of six, and also toys and gifts. Former errand boy takes over at Mansfield butchers
