We have a winner!!!

It's congratulations all round   This year's winner of the Best Christmas Window 2015 is Pinders Opticians on Queen Street who win a fabulous trophy and a weeks worth of advertising. Eco Dress Display!

To commemorate Remembrance Day, the Cornwater Club Charity Shop is displaying two Eco Dresses made by Miss Mansfield 2015 Finalists, Georgia Staniland and Chelsea Garton.  Georgia's dress, left in the photo was created in the theme of the Great War and Chelsea's dress was based around the charity Help the Heroes.   The Eco dress section of Miss Mansfield challenges the finalists to make an outfit using existing materials and clothes to transform into an eco- friendly outfit.   So pop along and see some great uses of pre-owned clothingand how well the girls have done to ...

Halloween Reminder

  Women out for the night in Mansfield will be reminded of the need to stay in control and to plan getting home safely as part of the next Mansfield Partnership Against Crime (MPAC) Night of Action.   Planned for this weekend (October 31) the issue of vulnerable women has been chosen as the theme for the Night following a series of incidents dealt with by town centre agencies involving women putting themselves at risk as a result of excessive drinking.   Recent examples include a lone female who approached police officers at 4am to report that a group of males ...

Jingle all the way!

The Mansfield BID will be issuing purse dipping jingle bells over the festive period along with crime prevention advice. We want to make sure that nothing spoils this magical time for you by ensuring your purse/wallet stays safe with you at all times.  The bells are free and will be available from the Customer Service Desk in the Four Seasons Centre from Sunday 15th November and from the BID Ambassadors who can be seen walking around the town. New deli offers a taste of something new
