ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP

Welcome

One of the key objectives of the Mansfield Town Centre Partnership is to:
“Enhance communication between providers and users of town centre services. Co-ordinate efforts, resources and interests of all the stakeholders to improve the town centre”.

Background

The Mansfield Town Centre Partnership was formed in April 1997, when the original core partners signed a declaration of intent, to encourage their own organisation to work together in partnership with the private, public, and voluntary sectors.

The partners’ common aim is improving the prosperity and quality of life in Mansfield town centre, and it has always been the aim of the founder signatories to invite other town centre stakeholders to participate in the Partnership.

Community Involvement

An important aspect of the Partnership’s work is community involvement. The Partnership provides a framework for the unique town centre community, with an information and communications service and the opportunity to exchange experience
